After the proscription on Jihadi groups in Kashmir, numerous groups activated their selves to enmesh in Jihad; the land previously was under the supremacy of Alqaida & Taliban. There were many factions of militants in Kashmir which were more than 18.Some Organizations like Hizbul-Mujahedeen, Al-Umar Mujahedeen, Jammu Kashmir liberation front & many others were the Kashimiri based organizations operational for the liberation. Whereas in Pakistan, due to particular circumstances, Jihadi factions were brought up intentionally; important are Jeshe-e-Muhammad, Lashkare-e-Taibba & Harkat-ul-Mujahedeen were incorporated. Although these Jihadi organizations had been active in Kashmir yet Harkat-ul-Jihad-ul-Islami, Harkat-ul-Mujahedeen, Jeshse-e-Muhammad, Al-Badar Mujahedeen & Lashkare Taibba claimed to be the closest collaborator of Osama Bin Laden & these Jihadi organizations have imprints of Alqaida on them. Many organizations were benefited a lot from Financial & technical facilities from Alqaida.Osama B in Laden played his crucial role in unification between the Jihadi organizations.
In February 1998, members of these organizations participated in the war against crusaders and Zionists in Afghanistan. In 1999, it was decided discussing with Osama that Kashmir will be the abode of Jihadi organizations and Sharia Nizam will be started from Kashmir. After this, these organizations proclaimed Sharia Nizam in occupied Kashmir and forced women not to wear jeans and observe veil strictly & Hizbul Mujahedeen started collecting JIZYA.
In the reign of Ex-President Musharraf, U-turn policy was witnessed and announced ban on various Jihadi organizations in Pakistan. Due to this, many organizations went under ground while others joined Alqaida & Taliban.
Due to this action,Alqaida,Taliban & Kashimiri militants with other Jihadi organization prevailing in the world strategies new policy to battle against these odds as they presuppose. The international Jihad concept was fostered due to this venture. The leadership of Taliban focused on the evacuation of America from Afghanistan yet ALQAIDA considering Afghanistan its base camp, maneuvered all jihadis to wage a war against anti Islamic notions existing in the world & extend the perception of global jihad.
The broadcasting channel of Alqaida Al-Shab, videos/CD were being released for this global Jihad.
An operation was being launched in tribal areas of Pakistan against the allies of Taliban by the then government which created a massive unrest in Pakistan & resultantly Taliban started operating in Pakistan. In January 2007, after Lal Mosque operation, some of the passive Kashmiri jihadis became active like Ismatullah Moavia of ban Jesh-e-Muhammad, Ilyas Kashmiri of Harkat-ul-Islami and many others were included.
Approximately 22 militant groups have been active in tribal areas of Pakistan since long. Arab, Uzbek, Chechen and Punjabi Taliban are the part of these organizations working in tribal areas. Taliban has divided its functioning into two parts; one for policy and decision making & other for implementing action and strategy. A group of Taliban elders are deputed to implement Islamic system, justice& settlements of local disputes.
It has been observed that there are some grievances between the Taliban groups on various issues. But the leadership of Taliban & Alqaida reconciled the issues and establishes consensus to wage war against anti Islamic phenomenon. The group of Jalal-ud-din Haqanni always played positive role to settle down the disputes amongst the various factions of Taliban between Pakistan & Afghanistan.
The gathering of various Jihadis in tribal areas of Pakistan in favor of global Jihad concept is unanimous and facilitated by Alqaida.
During the Swat & South Waziristan operation, world has come to know that foreigners have been performing their role in the ongoing unrest in Pakistan.Thr passports, ID's and other evidences have strongly proven this fact.
